Aromas of blue fruits raspberry, plum and cherry are complemented by spice and vanillin from American oak.
The wine is full-bodied and round; flavors include plum, raspberry and ripe cherry.
Structural tannins provide balance and a solid finish, but the wine is quite soft considering the intensity of the flavours.
